When a user completes a check-in in WOOF, we do not collect any personal data — meaning we do not gather information that can directly or indirectly identify an individual.

Users access the check-in by either scanning a QR code or entering a pin code displayed on a shared group screen (e.g., in a classroom or meeting). This access method is the same for all participants in the group and does not link responses to individual identities.

Each check-in consists solely of multiple-choice questions. These typically cover:

• The user’s mood

• Factors influencing their mood (positive or negative)

• Simple preferences (e.g., “Rainy or Sunny?”)

There is no option to enter text, ensuring that responses remain anonymous and non-identifiable.

When a check-in is completed, we collect the following non-personal data:

• The user’s selected answers

• Which survey was assigned to the group

• The time the check-in was submitted

• The user’s timezone

• The classroom or WOOF group from which the check-in was started

We collect this data in order to:

• Help schools and educators understand overall trends in classroom well-being

• Improve the relevance and effectiveness of WOOF’s tools

• Support the ongoing development of our recommendation models and learning content

All data is stored securely. Our goal is to provide meaningful insights to educators — without compromising student privacy.
