Because it's important! Would you answer honestly to a well-being survey at your workplace if it was not anonymous? Do you think everyone else would?
Students are completely anonymous with WOOF. This means that neither the classmates, the teacher, the school administration nor WOOF know the names of the students or what the specific students tell the dog when they WOOF.
This is because we want students to feel safe and for teachers to get honest responses from the students.
This also means that we cannot see who is feeling good or bad in the class, but the class can work *together* to improve their collective well-being.
We also want everyone to feel safe using WOOF - students, and also their teachers, schools, and their parents. The safest way to secure personal data is minimize what data are collected: no personal identification data is collected from the students when they use WOOF.
